TvShowsonDVD have received a note from Rhino, stating that the release date for their Transformers Armada Season 1 Part 2 DVD has been moved back to it’s original release date of 26th September.

Rhino have delayed the release date of Transformers Armada Season 1 Part 2 from 26th September to 3rd October. The set is being released in North America (Region 1).

Nearly 2 years since Rhino released Transformers Armada Season 1 Part 1 (Region 1), they are now bringing Part 2 containing the remaining 26 episodes to fans in North America on 26th September. More news on the set, including the cover, coming soon.

Dan Collins sent is a message he received from Toon Zone stating that there’s going to be a two-disc, expanded DVD edition of Transformers The Movie. It is in development now, timed to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Transformers. A late 2004 Region 1 release date has been tentatively scheduled.

We don’t know anything about it or what it will contain, but we’ll endevour to find out.

Rhino’s Transformers Armada Season 1 Part 2 DVD cover has now been revealed thanks to TVShowsOnDVD. The set contains the final 26 episodes and is released on 26th September.

TV Shows on DVD has got some more accurate details on the upcoming region 1 Beast Machines DVD. The 4 disk set is being released through Rhino Home Video and will contain interviews with key people from the series and a commentary on one episode, as well as all 26 episodes. To sum this up, they will NOT be releasing Visionaries or Transformers Headmasters at this time. This also means they will not be releasing Masterforce, Victory, Zone or Scramble City in the near future. Rhino will be releasing Volumes 4 and 5 of Transformers Armada and season 3 of Beast Wars on 24th August. They are however, unsure on Armada and Beast Machines boxsets.

Paramount, who now own the worldwide distribution rights to Transformers Energon, will release two dvds, subtitled “The Battle For Energon” and “The Return Of Megatron” in October, by which time these Energon episodes will have hopefully have aired in the UK.

This could all be good news for Metrodome, having already released Visionaries (region 2) and planning on releasing Headmasters, Masterforce and Victory, before any release in the USA.
