Yahoo! Movies have written a special feature about their top supervillians to celebrate The Dark Knight villian, The Joker. Megatron is featured as the fourth photo on the list, for his short role in the Transformers movie. Joined in the list are other recent villians such as Davy Jones, Agent Smith, Magneto and Lord Voldemort.
Here’s how they describe the big bad robot:
A robot that shrinks down into a handgun that other robots have to hold to shoot? Not exactly a threat to the planet. So it’s no surprise that the leader of the Decepticons was given a new “alien jet” vehicle mode for the movie. Not that he needed to turn into something to wreak havoc; he tears poor Jazz in half with his bare hands.

Paramount Home Entertainment have now sent out the cover for the transforming Megatron DVD case. In a similar style to the Optimus Prime version, it will contain the Two-Disc Special Edition of the Transformers movie, unlike the Bumblebee and Optimus Prime masks, which come with the 1 disc package.
The Megatron packaging is due out in North America on 2nd September, with no news on an international release.

Hopefully the location of Barricade with match up with IDW’s Reign of Starscream series and it seems that Devastator is still be used instead of Brawl.
The Blu-ray release is due for 2nd September in North America and 9th September in the UK.

As well as Titan’s Transformers (UK) #13 out this week, IDW have lots and lots of comics coming to entertain fans. In total, there are 5 Transformers related products, with stuff for the IDW Transformers continuity, the live action movie, Transformers: Animated and Beast Wars.
Starting off with the main IDW continuity, we’re getting The Transformers Spotlight: Cyclonus (Revelations Part One), which follows on from Transformers: Devastation, and The Transformers Spotlight: Wheelie, the fifth independent Spotlight issue of 2008 (which will make you love the character).
Transformers Animated, Vol. 3 continues the Animated cartoon in comic form, again using scans from the animation to produce the art.
Transformers Movie Prequel Special is a reprint of the two Target exclusive comics, one that were given out in theaters in the USA and one as an extra for Transformers on DVD at Target Stores (as well as Play.com in the UK).
Finally, Transformers Beast Wars Sourcebook TPB collects together the 4 individual sourcebooks and fixes many of the errors and omissions.
As a bonus, Chris Ryall has posted the final two covers for Spotlight Cyclonus and the one for Spotlight Wheelie. All comics are out on 18th June.
