I agree. I don't want any "leather finish" or "special aperture" - I just want the figure in a G1-like box. That's what Encore was, and that's what Encore should remain. And $50-$60 would be a reasonable price for that, not £100.

I'm getting a bit tired of Takara price gouging on these things. I personally could care less about Sunstorm or Sixshot, but the eyewatering prices they've been asking lately are just taking the ****. MP-11 is just a remould of MP-03, so why are they asking so much more for either of them when they must have covered their costs a long time ago through all the releases MP-03's had, and when most of us have brought MP-01 in one form or another?

Well...Maybe it's to stop Igear from putting out Sunstorm, since Takara are now f**ked for releasing the cone head jets. And I suppose if they have a fanbase willing to shell out £200 + on Rodimus, then they can pretty much charge what they like.

I knew Sunstorm was a Amazon Japan exclusive, but this is the first I've heard of it being limited to 1000.

The simple solution is to not buy the Sixshot reissue. I've got the Takara reissue from about 10 years ago and that's absolutely perfect for a reissue. However, we're dealing with an Internet geek community here and, to some of those people, the idea of not buying a particular release, especially if it's "special" in any way is unthinkable, unfortunately.
