I love Terrorsaur. I think he’s a cool little toy and I could understand him being a cowardly, power hungry grunt (as opposed to say, the Decepticon’s second in command...). Although little more than a means to an end for Megatron in the Beast Wars, you can see why he picked this traitorous trigger happy fellow as part of his crew.

His toy, as the name might suggest, is a Pterosaur. I’m not totally convinced that these prehistoric creatures were bright red, but he compliments the other Predacons nicely enough - and is another reason why of all the early Beast Wars toys, the Predacons are the more interesting of the two factions, with their bright colours and more creepy looking forms. Or is that just me? His beast form has some nice markings, with scales and some nice green markings on his back. Only the incredibly cluttered underside and visible robot legs give the game away.

Pressing down on the bird’s backside flips out the robot form, and his pistol is cleverly stored behind his neck. Terrorsaur’s robot mode is a nicely balanced burst of red, black, white and blue. It’s a very simple but bold colourscheme and instantly makes Terrorsaur stand out in a crowd. Having at least ten points of articulation makes Terrorsaur a highly posable figure for his size class. Easily one of the best figures out of the early Beast Wars line, only so hinged wings (so these would be slightly less obtrusive in robot mode) would have made Terrorsaur perfect.
