Overload. No! Not the hit record by popular beat combo the Sugababes from the wilds of the year 2000 (promise this’ll be the last time I say this...possibly), but the Micromaster Transport not dissimilar to Ultra Magnus.

Overload is a decent looking transport carrier, capable of storing four regular Micromasters. The trailer, as with all Micromaster Transports, is a little big and slightly dwarfs the cab. The trailer folds out into a jet/sky sled thing in much the same way as Roughstuff’s trailer. It’s not quite as dynamic as Roughstuff’s (or even Flattop’s for that matter), but does the job. The predominance of red and grey does make it look, um, well...a bit dull. It follows pretty much the same sequence as Roughstuff, with the sides folding down to form wings, and the nose cone folds out of the front, with a safety bar folding back and forming from the front of the trailer. Again, it does look like a flying roller coaster cart rather than a jet of some sort.

The cab itself actually looks okay when detatched from the trailer. Nicely detailed and a reasonable stab at a tractor cab. The robot mode is a bit of a portly blob though. As with Roughstuff, the cab forms a good chunk of the figure’s body, with the head simply flipping out of the top. His arms a disappointing couple of pipe cleaners dangling down by his sides and some relatively thin legs are bookended by some large feet.

Overload isn’t a glamourous figure by any stretch, but is a competent figure saved from too much neglect by being able to interact with other figures. That said, he shouldn’t be the top of anyone’s list and his fairly unremarkable standing means that he is a fairly cheap buy on the aftermarket.
