Some Transformers fans had wished to find out whatever happened with StarScream killing the Kaon senate in Megatron: Origins, and StarScream walking freely among the Iacon Citadel senators and Zeta Prime.
Chris Metzen (writer) clears that one up, and offers a brief insight into what happens tomorrow (Wed, Feb 15) in Transformers: Autocracy # 3. This issue places SoundWave in the spotlight.

IDW are really missing out on a lot of sales on this series, as it's "only available on the App Store, platforms powered by ComiXology, and the Comics+ app by iVerse". Since I have no iPhone / iPad and refuse to install any applications just to watch some comics I'll be completely skipping it, and I figure many others with me.

Hi there, Robtimus. I'm a bit confused. You don't need to install an application to view the comixology comics. All you need is Adobe Flash Player -- and everyone has that installed already, I'd assume.
I have a comixology account. Only read the World of Warcraft comics, StarCraft comics, and the new Diablo comics. Got the three latest Autocracy issues too. No installation required.
Unless you meant the Android app.

I didn't know that ComiXology didn't need installing. To be honest, I've never heard of it, I just assumed it was some application that takes care of the DRM or something.
I've just registered and tried it with some free preview comics, but I'm still not impressed. I have the choice of reading the comics on my mobile (Android) or from their website. I would prefer to have a local copy, even if it is a digital one. If ComiXology goes down for whatever reason I lose my copy. That's unacceptable to me. So I repeat myself - I'll be completely skipping it.

There's no DRM to my knowledge, except that you must enter your username and password. However, I understand your concern about not being able to download the comic into your computer.
If anything, the only workaround to that is that you can take screenshots of each page, and store them in a folder in your computer so you don't have to read that comics issue in their website again.

I spend enuff time looking at a computer screen - one of the main things i like about my comic books is that it get me away from a screen. I cant spend even more time looking at a screen for this.
If they released them as books - id totally get them.

The TPB of Autocracy is released in July, but it's well worth a look online, it's bloody lovely.
