Is that Doubledealer Factory Sealed on both sides?

If so that is NICE!! I would kill for that figure.

But the light in that cabinet would worry me, it must be producing some heat which could cause yellowing, and the constant light over time will cause discolouration to the boxes.

Yes its a factory sealed, never opend. :D It was one of my favs as a kids so im very proud to have found it. Got it for 100Euro of an old man who kept it for years. Its so uniqe that it can transform to both Autobots and Decepticons :D. Its in very vey minty condition.
You dont happen to know a apreciated value of it do you?

Yeah ive heard it before... maybe i should be one of thoose long led sticks and strap on the korners of the display?

yeah, I know how much it is worth, assuming that it is in as good a condition on both sides and the back, it would score an 80 to 85 when graded. Which would put in in an ungraded price bracket of £450, $700, or €535.

Wow! Probobly my most expensive peace this far. Im thinking of getting it a plexibox. Is there any reason why i should send it to AFA rather than just boxing it myself? Im not planning on selling it since its very important for me :)

Im curious about the Quake MOC tho, i got it for 40 Euros.

I got a few more of the micromasters mocs that i might sell to afford some rare swedish Action Force mocs that i got an offer on recently. Anyone know what the micromasters mocs are worth?

If you send to AFA or UKG for grading it just gives you a nice sealed case and a graded score. I have all mine graded because I like graded figures, and believe it or not, graded figures are worth more than ungraded, and I like the protection.

Like I said, a piece like that needs to be in a cool dry place away from direct light. Heat and light can cause yellowing of the inner bubble and discolouration of the outer box, which would end up not only ruining a really nice piece, but devalue it.

Ok.
What type of lights on my display do you recomend?

There are no lights that won't damage it over time. Best thing to do is not put any direct light on it. If that is not an option, do it as little as possible, and avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight. If you get a case for it, you can get UV protected cases, but they cost more, which will help with sunlight etc.

Okok, i dont think i can live without the lights tho. For me displaying it nicely is half the joy. But i only lightnen it up on weekends. I Have also placed the display away from sunligt and mostly have my curtains down.
But ill think of getting it graded with a UV filter. How much do you think that will cost me with shipping included? :)

I'm not sure how much it will cost. I have never had mine graded with a UV case.

Mine are kept in a temperature controlled cupboard, I open the door during the day, and they get a fair bit of light, which makes them look nice on display, but the light is not direct light.

Other than when I look at them, I keep the cupboard closed so it is dark.

I have considered getting a cabinet like yours for display, but would have to rig some kind of curtain up to prevent direct light, and would only turn on the internal light on occasions, never leaving it on for prolonged periods of time.

dude, if you get Doubledealer graded, and it scores an 85, its worth $1,200, if it scores a 90 its worth $2,500.

I have just bought this, and looking at yours it could score the same or more if there are no marks or scuffs on the box.

Factory Sealed Original Powermaster Mercenary Doubledealer
