News from Jim Sorenson (of the excellent Animated Almanac fame) that a book of the glorious Transformers Box art from 1984 - 1995 (that's including Generation 2!) is to finally see the light of day. Although a 'new' project for IDW, such a thing was originally mooted for Dreamwave's Genesis book but never got off the ground.

Me, personally, i am very much looking forward to this as I love the box art - which has sadly been rubbish from Beast Machines up until the Powercore 5 packs and the HFTD line.

Does this mean all the techspecs will be in it?

Box art != tech specs. I'd like that (especially since I haven't bought the tech specs repros yet), but I wouldn't count on it.
