Difference of Japan God Ginrai reissue and original?

Is there any difference between Japan release original 1988 and the reissue 2001?
I means in term of their respective boxes , the toys (is the ori has no cast and reissue has die cast?)

I ask this because I just got a japan god ginrai. The box has 1988 printed on it and the toy's front end of the track is die cast which make it quite hefty
However, I was being told that the original japan god ginrai has no die cast ...so I am not really sure which one which now

Aaaasssss far as I know, the japanese version always had the die-cast cab, and proper windows.

Yeah the 1988 version has the die cast cab,windows and silver trailer (as opposed to power master prime's grey). There is a small but noticeable difference on the god bomber toy that was sold seperately- the missile silos just below the cab windows were less pronounced than on the god ginrai set version.or was it the other way around..?

A fire guts god ginrai variant was also made available alongside the reissue figure.

IIRC, the only obvious difference between the Takara reissue God Ginrai toy and the original were the copyrights. The original did have die-cast.

Hasbro's PMOP had a plastic cab, stickers for windows and red hands that were part of the arms. Ginrai had a metal cab, real windows and slide-in blue hands. The windows and hands were a reason for me to get the God Ginrai reissue even though I already had the original PMOP.

The hands alone convinced me to get one. I loved my Powermaster Prime as a kid, but his shortened arms did make him look a bit feeble when compared to Super Ginrai.

Hang on, are people getting confused here? I think what warbot's talking about are the Japanese figures - the original God Ginrai released as part of the Masterforce line and the reissue Takara did in the early 2000s, not Hasbro's original Powermaster Optimus Prime figure.
In the case of the Takara figures, there are no real differences between the two, just that some Godbombers have protruding missiles on the front and some don't.

the protruding missiles is on the sold sep vs boxed set version. the reissues are identical to the '88 GG version.
