Well, after moving I've found all me comics, and I have lsotw for a train journey, so I'm going to start over.
I'm trying to find the idw collection at a nice price, but alas I'm having no luck as yet.
Question, other than the spotlights...where do the novels such as 'bumblebee' 'drift' 'prime' etc fit in?
As far as I can make out(been a while since I read 'em) they fit in with the ongoing stuff!!
Bumblebee fits in at around #3-#7 where he pops up in his new form, he starts his series in bug form and it finnishes with him in the camero form, Drift is set before the tion series proberly not long into the war, Ironhide is set after he gets killed, and the only prime one i no of is the spotlight one-shot which is set inbetween escalation and devestation
There is also the Transformers: Prime series which is its own continuity, based on the latest TV series.
I disagree on Drift occurring before the "tion" series. I think it happens not too long before Spotlight: Drift, which I think in turn occurs around AHM, as it includes Kup and Perceptor along with more classic Wreckers.

it is a mini, but like they did with animated i beleave they are doing the comic version of the episode, also robtimus i beleave your right after thinking about it, it is proberly awhile after the tion series
Ok, so out of these 'one shots' which would you recommend?
Are they going to be included in the IDW collection series?
i dont think the one shots are in the idw collections tbh, you can get them in tpb form, there not my sort of thing, a few have been a good read, the ironhide series is pretty good, as is drift
Right, ill pick up Drift....he seems to intruige me for some reason. Wish me luck hunting!
I havnt read any dreamwave stuff yet..iv just ordered the idw collections 1-4 so cant wait for them to arrive
