The package consists of

1 binder
20 binder Wallets
20 backing cards
20 comic bags
1 ridiculous display frame

The binder is chunky, sturdy and has a vaguely padded front. It is heavy and will afford good protection to your issues. The spine has a small plastic area, behind which you can please your inner nerd further still by printing and inserting a label. Maybe you would like to colour coordinate it?

If should also be noted that the binder sports some eye-catching, generic "Comic" art. Which I absolutely hate. With a passion. I really wish that plastic thing was on the front so I could cover the art over.

The mechanics of the folder are just swell. Even I'm not nerdy enough to expand. It works.

Now we get into the extra stuff and the weird stuff.

Firstly the wallets. These are the stars of the show. 3 hole punched to match with the folder, perfectly sized and very sturdy indeed. It could've gone so wrong here, but you boys pulled it off!!! So we can all relax now.

Then you get to the bags... yeah so, apparently, if you just put comics directly into the wallets, they will melt and all your friends will die. So you have to put them in the bags first (which have sticky seals) and you have to back them with the card, or they may decide to indulge in contortionism. ok. Seems a bit over the top to me personally, but it looks after them I guess.

Then, the crowning glory! The ridiculously flimsy display frame. WHAT IN HOLY HELL IS THE POINT OF THIS????? You shell out all this cash to ensure your collection is pristine, you even go over the top by double bagging everything and then... then... you take "that one special comic" (I'm not kidding you, it says that), you remove it from some (at least) of it's protection and you put it in sunlight. BRILLIANT.

I mock... but I probably will. Cos it's pretty :P

So there we go. It cost me £15 plus postage. I like it and I'm pleased with it. You can buy additional inner wallets of glory for when you need them. In fairness they are probably heavy duty enough to take 2 comics each (front and back) but I've not tried yet. Worth the money I think. Just, be careful to get it from a quality seller as I had a fraud warning on my card not long after getting this - probably not linked in the slightest but, be careful people.

Ah, 'Slabbing' comics. A moronic pastime borne out of the height of the speculator boom of the early 1990s, as endorsed by Todd McFarlane in a series of adverts because "he cares about cool" , apparently. Its the comics equivalent of AFA Grading : putting your treasured possession in a plastic case so you can coo over how much your stuff is worth but never being able to touch it again. Its like having a shop window in your own home. Amazing.

Yeah. I'm not going to knock it because, if people liek to do that then fine. But it seems waaaaaaaaaaaaay over the top to me. I just wanted to get the things off a pile on the floor :P
