Yup.
That's what happens when the company treats the creator/head writer so badly he decides to walk.
Don't get me started on "the circus train"...

In defeat, malice. In victory, revenge.
Yeah, that was a BAD episode.
Couldn't believe it when he turns up again, an how the lunatacs were completely forgotten about!
I don't even remember the Lunataks being toys, yet they're clearly the most blatantly **** toy advert ever.
i did like how there were 5 parters though, and they did give a decent story.
And also how characters were not forgotton, such as Snowman and the berbill making the odd apparence.
Anybody caught last night's episode? Fillers are kicking in and they tend to bore me. Good action for a cartoon, though, so if you're into this thing it wasn't bad. Pirate-boss sounded more Scottish than he did pirate-y. Plus, admit it: you all think Wilykit and Wilykat are so darn cute!
I never seen the original series. But when I started to see trailers for the new reboot series, I was highly interested. Anything with a pretty art style (let alone close to anime), catches my interest. I was highly impressed with what I saw within the last two episodes as far as animation goes. I am hoping for more character development though. I am a huge Tales of the Abyss fan girl and I see many similarities between Lion-O and Luke fon Fabre. Maybe that's another reason why it's been catching my eye. I dunno. I just hope that it's a good reboot for the series. Many of the newer reboot series have been a hit or miss. Everyone seems to be talking about this one though; so I'm thinking that's a good sign. Either way, I'm going to continue to watch it. It seems like a good catch.
They did make one Lunatak, the Lunatak dragon tank, the Mad Bubbler and the Feliner, but they were never released. They appeared on posters given away with the larger Thundercat toys around 1987. I guess Thundercat toy sales slumped a bit, so they didn't bother to put them out.
