So, according to today's Daily Mirror, Karen has quit Dr. Who!
She says she'll be leaving in the next series at some point along with Arthur.
She goes on to say that when Amy and Rory leave, it'll be a real heartbreaking episode.
The Dr. is said to meet someone new and take them on board, but Karen won't tell us about her,him or it!
Shame really, cause I really like Amy and Rory. What say you guys?

I never got over K9 leaving the show...never watched it again, I was however impressed with the Doctor in Blackadder II.
The Autobots will have a new leader in the forthcoming Transformers movie. He can turn in to a bowl of dog food. His name: Winalot Prime.
It was to be expected. Their stories were pretty much told this year. Time to move on.
I'm disappointed because I like the characters, but I agree that there isn't much more to do with them. Moffatt is a good writer though, so I'm sure he'll give them a good send off. My only concern is, based on the lengthy seeding of plotlines that Moffatt does, will Karen's exit affect it. Is her exit a new development, or is it just being made public now.
I'd guess her contract was up and she was asked if she wanted to do more and said no. So long as they don't kill her and Rory off, i'll be happy

On a connected note, am I the only one who thinks that this years christmas special has been a bit more under the radar compared to previous years. I knew there was one, but didn't know what it was about, or who was in it till today. Last year, I'm sure we knew the title, and the casting of Michael Gambon and Katherine Jenkins months before.
