Seibertron’s souce reports that Ravage uses biological warfare against the humans, Jetfire has an ability that can create wormholes and that Scorpinok will return from the first film. TFW2005 are reporting that their inside man (or woman), the “TFW TF2 Insider”, has confirmed the alt modes for Decepticon Soundwave in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Yes, I said Alt modes, meaning you (may) be seeing both his Earth and Cybertronian modes. His Cybertron mode will apparently be a satellite, and his Earth mode will be a pickup truck.
None of this has been confirmed, so take it as rumour until some official confirmation is out.

Variety are reporting that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences’ board of governors has lifted their ban on movie advertising during the Academy Awards telecast. The ban was originally put in place to prevent fears of vote rigging.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has been mentioned as being placed into one of these slots, but this spot isn’t guaranteed, especially since distributers are only allowed one film to advertise, which means Paramount would have to decide between ROTF, Gi Joe or Star Trek.

Jalopnik has posted new images at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona. On set were the Chevrolet Camaro (Bumblebee), the Chevrolet Trax and the Chevrolet Beat.
The license plate of the Chevrolet Beat seems to reveal the name of the character that will transform into that car. The name is Skids, the Autobot who appeared only briefly in the G1 cartoon. This isn’t confirmed, but would seems a suitable choice for the vehicle.

TFW2005 have received a report from The Hasbro Licensing Summit 2008 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and with it comes lots of Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen SPOILERS.
First up, the Chevy Corvette that has been seen everywhere has been confirmed to be Sideswipe, the red G1 Autobot that originally transformed into a Lamborghini.
The second confirmation is that the Decepticon tape Ravage will be in the sequel, but not as a tape for Soundwave. Ravage is mentioned as having a “very raw beast mode”.
Leader class figures Optimus Prime and Megatron were shown, with Megatron’s figure confirming that his alternative mode is indeed a tank. The Optimus Prime figure will have a new mould from the first film and a new transformation.

In a Q&A at TFW2005, Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen writer Roberto Orci has provided some more answers, this time confirming that there will be no triple changers (ala Blitzwing) but there will be combiners:
Talked about it. Does a combiner count? We figure a triple changer is a good idea for part 3.
Also answered was the likelihood that Megatron and Starscream will be up to their old ways again, withbickering left right and center and that it has been discussed (no confirmation) in the writters room about the possiblity of Optimus Prime combining with another robot or even his trailer.
And for anyone wondering what Soundwave will trasnform into, nonbody has guessed it yet.
