Transformers Masterpiece 02 Ultra Magnus Getting Second Production Run
Various retailers have received word from TakaraTomy that they plan on a 2nd production run for Transformers Masterpiece 02 Ultra Magnus, the repaint of MP-01 Optimus Prime. It will be out by Christmas, in November sometime. It will cost about $110 or £55 from retailers like Play-asia.com.
The figure was originally released in April 2006, and became very rare, very quickly, due to the limited production run.

Classics Ultra Magnus and Skywarp 2-pack in Box
The Target exclusive Classics Ultra Magnus and Skywarp 2-pack has now appeared in box at visualmedia.com.hk, after first appearing at Botcon back in September.
The set is due out in February in USA. There are no details on a release elsewhere.
New E-Hobby Exclusive Laser Ultra Magnus Trailer Image

e-Hobby Magnus Announced
No sooner do Takara get their TFC-22 G2 Laser Optimus Prime up, e-Hobby go and plan to repaint and release their own version. A repainted Laser Prime in blue, white and red, Ultra Magnus! No idea when this one will be released, but seeing as Twincast is being released in April, it’s likely that this one will be hot on it’s heels as the TFC version is due out around March. Check out e-Hobby’s site to see a pic of the robot mode!
SD Ultra Magnus Statue UK Release Info
The SD Ultra Magnus Statue, which was designed in a competition run by First4Figures and TFW2005, is due to get a UK release. There will be 500 available through Forbidden Planet at a price of £12.99, due for release on 16th January 2006.
