Josh Duhamel, star of Transformers and Transformers 2, is to drive the pace car at the Indianapolis 500 on May 24th. The pace car, in case you wondering, is Bumblebee – a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Pace Car.
Duhamel reprises his role as Major Lennox in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen this summer, and is delighted to have been chosen to drive Bumblebee (sorry, the pace car) and the race in May.
The Indy 500 is a legendary race, and it’s a great honor to be driving the Camaro Pace Car in it.
That’s one mean looking pace car!
It will be a 2010 Camaro, but I’m not sure it will be painted black and yellow like Bumblebee. Take a look at these photos:

That’s still a pretty sweet looking car, and some great publicity for Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.
