Only 1,000 of the attractive Sunstorm toys will be made available in Japan. There may be more pieces which will be obtainable in other Asian markets, but there is as yet no information forthcoming with regard to potential western availability.
To buy a piece of the action in Japan, you would have to shell out 12,000 yen. This is approximately equivalent to £95 at the moment. The Sunstorm piece will come in an aesthetically pleasing black package for those fortunate enough to have a purchasing opportunity.
The Encore Sixshot release is planned to occur in July 2012. The price will be exactly the same as the Sunstorm figure. Nonetheless, the packaging will be quite different. Apparently, it will possess a leather finish and a special aperture. These features will help make it into a real collector’s item.
