e-hobby have put up the first colour images of MP-08 Grimlock. Shown are his Dino mode and robot mode holding his sword. There are no signs of his crown or brain transfer device. Overall, the figure shows a very similar colour scheme to his G1 counterpart.
Grimlock is due out in March 09.
Another magazine scan, but this time giving us a clearer look at Masterpiece Grimlock’s heigh, with a comparison his his G1 toy. There are also shots of the crown and mind swap device.

Time for some more rumours. Sparkplug of SGCollect has posted some information he has received on the release of Masterpiece MP-08 Grimlock and Alternity Megatron.
Masterpiece Grimlock will be released in March 2009 by TakaraTomy with a price tag of 130,000 Yen. This is a lot more expensive than other Masterpieces, so (if true) expect a large item. Alternity Megatron will be available in either blue or silver and will transform into the new Nissan Fairlady Z.
Expect retailers to either confirm or deny these rumours in the coming weeks.
Titanium Predaking, Grimlock and Scorponok have received the official image treatment from Hasbro, and can be seen in and out of package.
