watching the original episodes brings back lots of childhood memories. cars and planes that converts/transforms into robots with arms and legs was unheard off until this anime came along. i was hooked the first time i saw the first episode. i really got into it when i saw hound in real life as a toy, cant beleive it was possible! i saved my school allowance just to buy some of the main characters such as optimus prime, sideswipe, mirage, and grimlock. too bad it was burned all to ashes when our house caught fire back in 1997. i miss them all! long live G1 Transformers!
