Amazon.co.uk are selling USA Region 1 DVDs!!!

Written by admin on October 11, 2007 | Uncategorized |

We just saw this news story from WhatDVD.Net,
this is great news for UK fans.

So the idea of having diferent region codings was to stop different territories
buying and importing DVDs before they were released in that country eh? Well
we Brits have long since been importing our DVDs and enjoying them while they’re
still in cinemas over here, and now Amazon.co.uk have jumped on the band-wagon.
It seems they’ve taken the policy of ‘well, everyone else is selling them so
why not us?. Now you can order DVDs like Higlander
Season 2, Finding
Nemo and Transformers
Season 3 from Amazon.co.uk.

There is still the risk of the import tax and customs charge to contend with,
but we’ve ran those risks for years!
