BIG news on future releases

BINALTECH/ALTERNATORS- Despite the fact that us Brits won’t be able to pick up these awesome figures on these shores, I am NOT gonna let this blue version of Tracks pass me by. Yes there is a BLUE version of Tracks, whether it’s the final product or an exclusive I don’t know but we now know it exists. Also the white Mazda RX-8 is on the way, the new inCARnation of everyone’s favourite ‘bot, Jazz.(Meister in Japan) ENERGON- It seems that a lot of repaints of current and past characters are on the way, notably the repainted Armada Red Alert known as Prowl being bundled with a repainted of Armada Starscream, A recoloured Super Optimus Prime w. Corona Sparkplug/Overload w.Rollout set and of course the infamous Optimus/Megatron set. GENERATION 1- Astrotrain is the latest to get the Hasbro/Toys R Us treatment. However it is not known whether he’ll be released in his white and black scheme(a la Takara Collection #11) or the purple and cream scheme that many of us remember. Hopefully it will be the latter, so those of us with Takara #11 and the E-hobby exclusive will be able to have all three colour schems in their collections. UNIVERSE- Universe shows no sign of slowing down as the RID Build Team have just recieved a DEVASTATING(!!) recolour. The four Autobot figures have been repainted and renamed after four of the original Constructicons, Bonecrusher, Longhaul, Hook and Scavenger while Landfill is now known as Devastator. The Micromaster Sixbuld team has also recieved the Constructicon treatment while the Sixturbo team have taken on the mantle of Defensor. Finally there is an unconfirmed report that the following Takara boxset after them dang, dirty Insecticons will be none other than the combined might of the Predacons also known as PREDAKING! If this is indeed true, then you can expect to shell out a cool £80 at least for this huge set. But what the hell, it’ll be worth it to have this monster on your shelf!! Watch this space!
