This prequel to the movie, set in 1969 just after the Apollo 11 moon launch, revolves around Sector Seven’s transport of Megatron and the launch of the manned craft Ghost 1.

The novel is written by Alan Dean Foster, who also writes the Official novel to film as well. He replaced David Cian, who is receives a story credit.
