Liverpool win the Champions League for a 5th time

Written by admin on May 26, 2005 | Uncategorized |

3-0 down at half time to AC Milan, Liverpool were dead and buried. Even the scousest Scouser had lost faith, and some fans left the stadium. Don’t know why, when Liverpool have twice in recent years come out second half and scored 3, once this season against Olympiacos.

Sure enough, the greatest final ever took shape as Gerrard, Smicer and Alonso levelled the match in just 6 second half minutes.

Some Grobelaar inspired antics from Jerzey Dudek in the penalty shoot out gave Liverpool the Cup, and this time they get to keep it.

Well done from all at TheTransformers.Net, and just how nervous must Everton be now?
