We’ve just launched our brand spanking new members system here at TheTransformers.Net.

What does this mean? Well, simple. It means you guys can join up as members and have your own part of the site. You’ll notice some links at the top of the page for Login, Members, and Become a Member. These are the member links you’ll need to explore. Simply click on ‘Become a Member‘ and fill in the form, we’ll then email you once the details have been activated and you’ll be able to log in and edit your details, and start taking advantage of the member perks.

But why should I become a member?

Well, simply put you’ll get a page of TheTransformers.Net all to yourself. You can add pictures of yourself, your collection or anything you like. You can add links to your own sites or favourite sites, and you’ll get a piece of code to link back to your member profile so you can link to it from your own website or forum posts – on this site or others.

Also, the user comments here at TheTransformers.Net will soon become member only, to stamp out the select few idiots that abuse them at present. This will make the site more secure and family friendly as I know there are a lot of young’uns out there using our fine site.

Eventually, and by that we mean real soon, members will be able to add reviews for anything they want on the site, and in some cases have access to add news to the front of the site. Everything a member adds to the site will be visible from their member pages, so they’ll be building up their online profile as they go.

At the moment you’ll see profiles for our staff in the member section, some more fleshed out that others. That’s because our staff are lazy. Yes, very lazy. I’m sure you could put them to shame with your profiles.
