My son with his Christmas present

Written by admin on October 11, 2007 | News |

Here’s
a quick snapshot of my two year old, Robbie, playing with one of his many Christmas
presents this year, Optimus Prime. I of course realise that Prime is meant to
be for 8 years and over, but he has the moron safe US Hasbro reisssue which
is meant for Americans, so he couldn’t possibly hurt himself or his sister.
He can say Optimus Prime, and even has an idea about transforming him, but he
was confused at why Roller wouldn’t fire out of the trailer when you press the
button. Sorry Robbie, blame those US safety laws.

Notice too that he proudly wears his 1985 original Transformers pyjamas. I
bought those at Transforce last year, and got them heavily reduced. Surprisingly
there wasn’t much call for children’s clothing at a convention inhabited mainly
by transformers fans, read into that what you will.
