Super Base Prime in Argos

Written by admin on October 11, 2007 | News |

Hi folks! I’m new to this part of the site, but you might have seen me shuffling around the messageboard. I’d have posted some news on something or other sooner, only I’m suffering from computer troubles at the mo. Nevertheless, my comp is working long enough to let me get this posted.

Anyone on the look out for Armada’s Super Base Optimus Prime should head for Argos, where he’s in stock for around £38. He’s also in the Index catalogue, but I haven’t heard if he’s been found in stock in any Index stores. Reports say that this Prime is the modified version which was released later in America, with super mode arms which rotate around fully, instead of the limited motion that the first run of the toy had. Also, in at least one instance, the catalogue/comic packaged with the toy was the 4th volume, which has only recently been released in the US, containing the Unicron Battles, TF Universe and Built to Rule toy listings.
