We just received this email from the bods at Atari about their Transformers PS2 game and the updates to their website. Thanks Lee Kirton!

Atari has continued adding original and fun content to its critically
acclaimed Transformers web site at www.atari.com/transformers. In keeping
with the spirit of the game, the site is innovative and beautifully
designed.

Transformers is Atari’s forthcoming AAA action shooter from highly regarded
veteran development studio Melbourne House. Atari and Melbourne House have
created the ultimate combat experience with Transformers, a fast and
furiously dynamic gaming experience set in a beautifully realised universe
engineered with proprietary technology.

This week, Atari has added some great new features and content, including a
3D model of Optimus Prime. This model can be totally manipulated and
‘transformed’ by users in real time, for a whole lot of Transformers fun.
New screenshots, AVIs, character artwork and biographies have also been
added this week, to complement the existing plethora of information and
downloads.

Transformers, already lauded and hugely anticipated by press across the
world, launches for PS2 on May 7th.
