Transformers Wins Good and Bad Awards

Written by Big Bot on December 22, 2007 | News,Transformers movie (2007) |

Empire Magazine have been celebrating the best of 2007 and Transformers has featured in some of the bad and good awards. Special Mention should go to the visual effects, which got to No. 1, and Best Trailers and Best Comebacks (for Optimus Prime) at No. 2.

Michael Bay, the best US car chase director, only got to No. 3, behind 28 Weeks Later and The Bourne Ultimatum, directed by a Spaniard and an Englishman respectively.

The line “I smell you, boy!” by Megatron was given the award for “Worst Lines Of Dialogue”, even though there were probably worst lines in Transformers.

The Good Awards
Best Trailers – No. 2
Best Visual Effects – No. 1
Scenes Of The Year – No. 3
Best Comebacks (Optimus Prime) – No. 2
Best Chases – No. 3

The Bad Award
Worst Lines Of Dialogue – No. 1
