The Nordic TransFans Association has posted news from Hasbro Nordic about the release of Transformers Animated and Universe toys. They have announced that the first wave is due for release in all Scandanavian countries on 1st August, 3 months after the UK.

There are no specific details on which toys will be released first.

According to TFW2005 member Locustreign, who has provided a sceenshot of the spreadsheet he received, Hasbro are planning on releasing the Transformers; Animated toys on 4th April in the UK. This includes the first wave of Animated Deluxe, Voyagers and the 2-pack, which comes with a DVD.

There is also some more interesting news, with there being a listing for Leader class Megatron and Bulkhead. Neither of these have been seen or mentioned before, so look out for more information on these soon.

Transformers Universe, which comprises the second wave of Classics toys, is also coming to the UK, with some deluxes are due to be released on 9th May. Ultras and Voyagers have no specific release date at this time.

A clip on CNN Money is online showing Hasbro’s Wayne S Charness talking about Hasbro’s future plans, which of course includes Transformers. He mainly talks about the 2008 plans for Transformers and demonstrates  a few toys, including Bumblebee and Ratchet Roleplay blasters, and a transforming hand held game, WITH a fully working game!

More images of Transformers: Animated Megatron have appeared on ebay, again with the toy in the box. The item is Voyager Class Megatron: Cybertron Mode, and with it’s many appearances on the web, is expected to be in Hasbro’s first wave of releases.

With the Transformers: Animated cartoon in full swing, fans are eagerly anticipating the tos that go with it. The latest item to appearing in package is the Optimus Prime V Megatron – The Battle Begins pack with a DVD containing one part of the special movie, “Transform and Roll Out!”.

Until now, Optimus Prime never thought he would come face to face with Megatron. The legendary villian was thought to be long ago deactivated, but on Cybertron his power and his evil are still feared. He knows that to face MEGATRON is to face his own mortality. If he will not give it up, Megatron will tear him apart to get it.
