Reminder: New Animated Episode Airs Today

Just a quick reminder that the next Transformers: Animated episode airs today in the USA and Canada. Cartoon Network will air the episode first at 10:30am EST, with YTV  airing the episode slightly later at 11am EST.

The title of the episode is ‘Lost and Found’ and introduces us to some new Decepticons  who arrive on Earth.

Cartoon Network have updated their online tv guide with news that a new episode of Transformers: Animated will air next Saturday (8th March). The episode is “Survival of the Fittest”, and airs oat 10:30am and again at 11:00am on Sunday.

This Saturday (1st March) also has a new episode, “Lost and Found”.

Transformers: Animated UK Air Times

TF@TM are reporting that NickToons will start airing Transformers: Animated in the UK from 25th March 2008, starting with the 3 part animated special ‘Transform and Roll Out!’. The full series will follow the next day, with a new episode airing every day until the first series finale on 7th April. Each episode will air at 4:30pm with repeats starting from 8th April.

This would mean that the series would end about the same time as the USA and Canada, who both only get one episode per week.

Various reports on the web are reporting that YTV are changing the time slot for Transformers: Animated in Canada.

On Saturdays, Transformers: Animated will move to a 11am time from 23rd March February 2008. There will also be a marathon of Transformers Animated episodes on1st March from 11am, all on YTV.

After a 3 week break, a new episode of Transformers: Animated airs today on Cartoon Network in the USA ay 10:30am Pacific Time. ‘Along Came a Spider’ is the sixth episode in the series and features the same title as the book and film.

Steve Gerber Passed Away

In some sad news, Steve Gerber passed away on 10th February at the age of 60 after a long battle with chronic lung disease (pulmonary fibrosis).

Steve was a writer and story editor on the original Transformers series as well as Sunbow’s other series at the time, G.I. Joe. He is also remembered for his work on the Howard the Duck Comicbook series.

Transformers: Animated Released 20th June in Germany

TheTransformers.de (no relation) have received news that Transformers: Animated will be airing on 20th June on channel Super RTL. This will coinside with the release of the Transformers: Animated toyline from Hasbro, but not specific toy releases are known at this time.

Animated Repeats on the Way

For those of you who have been watching Transformers: Animated on Cartoon Network (or the other way), will agree that the series has started well and is picking up pace. Well Cartoon Network have thrown a spanner in the works with February being the month of repeats.

Nanosec will air on 26th January as expected but there is no episode planned for 2nd February. On 9th February, we will get Total meltdown, the episode which is currently showing On Demand only. Blast from the Past will be repeated on 16th with the next new episode on 23rd February, Along Came a Spider followed by Sound and Fury.

  1. February 9th – Total Meltdown (Episode 5)
  2. February 16th – Blast from the Past (Episode 6)
  3. February 23rd – Along Came a Spider (Episode 9)
  4. March 1st – Sound and Fury (Episode 10)
