This weeks releases from IDW Publishing are Transformers Movie Adaptation #2, the second part (of 4) of the live action movie and The Transformers Target 2006 #3, the reprint of Marvel UK’s epic story.

Last Saturday, Chris Ryall, Simon Furman, and Nick Roche visited to Orbital Comics in London, signing merchandise, giving away plot teasers and generally being a lot of fun. There are a couple of reports and photos of the 2 hour activity
IDW Publishing have put up a 5 page preview on their website of Transformers Devastation Issue #1. The images are only of the uncoloured pencils, but are a nice teaser for the 6 issue series which starts in September and continues the story from Escalation.

IDW Publishing have put up previews for this weeks two Transformers releases. The first is Transformers The Ark: A Complete Compendium of Animation Models, and does exactly what the title says and the second is The Transformers Spotlight TPB, which compiled the first 5 Spotlight issues, Shockwave, Nightbeat, Sixshot, Ultra Magnus and Hot Rod.

What UK exclusive comic material can we expect in the new Transformers publication?
So far we have six self-contained stories written by Simon Furman that although are stand-alones, will tie straight into the IDW prequels. After that, we’re pondering our options; we have contracts for all the various Transformers properties so who knows where we’ll end up?

Titan Books have now revealed the first inside page of their exclusive UK comic, set to start on 19th July. The page, done by Geoff Senior, is from issue #1 which is about Optimus Prime.
