Play.com have put up a preorder page for Metrodome’s Masterforce DVD, with a release date of 24/04/06. It also lists it as Region 2, but this is not confirmed yet. The set costs £23.99 for 42 episodes. It has been confirmed by Chris McFeely that it will be a 5 disk set and this will mean the set is likely to be more expensive, so preorder now!
Also listed is Paramounts Transformers Cybertron A New Beginning DVD, due for 10/04/06.
TFauctions.com have returned from Toyfair UK 2006 with some answers from Hasbro UK on Beast Wars, Cybertron and the state of the Transformers releases in the UK. Check it out here.
It’s a bizarre one, but it’s true – as was previously reported with Hamley’s, Argos is currently stocking Snarl and Sideways as their Cybertron Deluxe assortment. What makes it bizarre, of course, is the fact that these were Wave 3 figures in America. No other Deluxe figures have been reported at Argos yet, either.
The new Argos catalogue is out in stores nationwide and as we’ve been reported, has lots of new Transformers. The website also has these available.
With the new Argos Catalogue due out in a week (21st January), the rumours have begun about which Transformers will be included. So far, the most likely lines included are
Transformers Cybertron
Star Wars Transformers
Transformers Alternators
Remember, these are just RUMOURS and are a bit of fun. What actually is in the catalogue will be revealed later next week.
Anthony Brucale of TFU.info won some rare items in the charity auction at BotCon 2005, which were papers taken from the desk of Hasbro Creative Director, Aaron Archer. He has been kind enough to show the rest of the fandom what was contained on these pieces of paper.
It has been confirmed by TFAuctions that Transformers Cybertron will launch, in the UK, later this month, but TF@TM have received word that Toys R Us have the entire range listed in their computers, as well as some G1 reissues and 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime (better late than never), all due for delivery soon!
Expect some more news soon, especially with the new Argos Catalogue due for release in a couple of weeks.
