Fantofan have provided some details from Wonderfest 2008 in Japan with news of TakaraTomy’s releases.
The Japanese Transformers Classics release(Henkei Transformers) was shown, with vistors given a hands on. Transformers Encore Jazz, a rerelease of G1 Jazz, was on display, with a new face mold.
There was also Trans-scanning Optimus Prime and Music Label Optimus Prime Ipod Docking Station Trailer on display.
Thanks to a sighting on TFW2005, it has now been confirmed that the Walmart exclusive Transformers movie Allspark Power deluxe figures Big Daddy, Grindcore, Jolt and Divebomb have been found at Walmart in Fontana, CA.
Artist Shane McCarthy has posted some information on the IDW forums about the All hail Megatron series that will be quite interesting to fans.
He doesn’t given away any spoilers but does confirm that the series is in continuity with the main IDW G1 story. There will be Autobots in the series but there is still no news on when the series will start or how many issue there will be.
I thought I’d drop by and say hello. ‘Focus On’ is due to hit the shelves soon and it’s great to see everyone getting excited about ‘All Hail’. I’m a big TF fan myself and if you guys have half the fun reading it as I’m having writing it you won’t have anything to worry about.
Anyway, I’m not one for spilling the beans completely (we buy comics for a reason, I like my surprises on the pages) but I wanted to at least drop a hint or two your way since being supporters of these boards should come with some perks right?

The Academy of Science Fiction Fantasy, and Horror Films (The Saturn awards) have announced that Transformers has been nominated in two categories of “Best Science Fiction Film,” and “Best Special Effects”.
TFW2005 have managed to get an interview with Transformers: Animated voice actor Tara Strong, who plays Sari Sumdac. As well as discussing the new show, they also talk about here other roles.
Heroic Decepticon Starscream, part of the Shattered Glass set for BotCon 2008, has appeared on ebay. The item is a repaint of Cybertron voyager Starscream, with similar colours to G1 Jetfire.
The official BotCon website has been updated with previews for the next 2 figures that will be available at BotCon 2008, Autobot Jazz and Grimlock.
Both continue the evil Autobots theme and are shown in both robot and vehicle modes.
TFW2005 are confirming that Transformers Classics Nemesis Prime will be available at the San Diego Comic-Con , which takes place from 24 to 27th July. As with all Nemesis version, expect it to be a black repaint of Transformers Classics Optimus Prime and for a lot to appear on ebay straight after the convention.
This weeks comic releases have been revealed as – Transformers Spotlight: Arcee, costing US$3.99 and Transformers Spotlight TPB Vol 2 for US$19.9. SPotlight volume 2 contains Spotlight Soundwave, Kup, Galvatron, Optimus Prime and Ramjet.
Chris Ryall has posted the second cover to Transformers Spotlight: Grimlock on his blog. The 13th Spotlight issue is written by Simon Furman (who’s favourite character is Grimlock) with the cover and interior by Marcelo Matere.
The bad news is that the issue seems to have been delayed from March to late April. This may be a mistake but we will try and confirmation for Chris Ryall soon.
