Transformers Toys at the Entertainer

Written by Darren 'Starscream' Jamieson on | News |

The high street retailer the Entertainer has a website called TheToyShop.com, which I’m sure causes some branding issues for them. Who’d have known it was the same company? Anyhow, they’ve  a decent supply of Transformers toys online, including a very cheap price for the Ultimate Edition Bumblebee (even though he’s out of stock as I write this).

Have a look at their Transformers toys and see for yourself how their prices compare against other UK retailers.

Full Animated Not At Mini-Con

Written by Big Bot on October 30, 2007 | Animated,Cartoon,Conventions,News |

We have some bad news for fans planning on attending Mini-Con in Arlöv this weekend. The anticipated showing of the first episode of Transformers: Animated will now NOT go ahead. It will now only be shown in partial form, with the full episode being held back until next year.

Now for the reason why. Hasbro Nordic tried their best to get the preview and were given the green light but at the last minute Hasbro USA have changed their mind. As usual, a lot of hard work by the international fandom is blocked by the USA branch.

Transformers Halloween Costume

Written by Darren 'Starscream' Jamieson on October 25, 2007 | News |

It’s Halloween next week, time to get your car in the garage to avoid a good egging and to make sure you’ve plenty of tooth rotting sweets on hand to give out to darling little children dressed up as vampires, werewolves and monsters… otherwise they’ll throw mud at your windows.

If however you have darling little children of your own, and the usual blood soaked Halloween costume isn’t something you can stomach, why not go for a little Optimus Prime action?

With an Optimus Prime costume this Halloween your offspring will be the envy of the dark streets, though sadly it doesn’t come with a trailer so you can fill it up with sweets. You could always build your own I guess.

You can see the full range of Optimus Prime costumes available to UK customers in our shop.

Art Du Jour! – Devastation #2

Written by Big Bot on | Comics,IDW Publishing,News |

IDW’s Art Du Jour page now features a page from The Transformers: Devastation #2, due out this week.

10/23/07
Hold on tight and strap yourself in. For the beleaguered Earthbound AUTOBOT Tactical Response Unit, the ride is about to get bumpy. Big time! With DECEPTICON super-weapon SIXSHOT meting out the punishment, they’re all looking distinctly like an endangered species. And it’s not much better for HOT ROD and WHEELJACK… who must face the Machination’s HEADMASTERS! Seriously. By writer Simon Furman and artist E.J. Su, with a variant cover by artist Nick Roche.

The page can be found here.
