As announced by Daz on the forums a little while ago, “Transformers Robots in Disguise” is coming to DVD courtesy of UK company Maximum Entertainment. And now, we’ve got the goods on the first release – set for July 26th, the first disc will contain the first five episodes of the series, with another release set for October. Boxsets are a possibility in the future.

Hasbro has put updates on the site for the weeks of March 1st. The Q&A section confirms that Cyclonus will return in Energon under the name Snowcat. There is also a preview of a new Energon figure called Slugslinger. Like his G1 namesake, he transforms into a twin-nosed jet fighter. But despite the site listing him as an Autobot, there are clearly Decepticon symbols visable on his robot mode. See the pictures here
Hasbro have put yet more figures up on their site from both Energon and Universe. From Energon we have a silver Hot Shot repaint and a Decepticon called Sharticon (possibly Sharkticon?) that seems to turn into some sort of ship. From Universe there’s Whirl, a repaint of the G2/Machine Wars Rotorstorm figure with repaints of Gunbarrel and Makeshift Minicons, and Magna Stampede, a repaint of the BBTS exclusive Battle Unicorn figure with reapints of the Prowl and Terradive Minicons. Magna Stamede also comes with a figure called Stockade, which I don’t recognise. Check the pictures here
