King Darkness of the Sideshow Freaks message boards has posted photos of Ironhide, the GMC Topkick and two unseen vehicles, a 3 wheel motorcycle and a Can-Am Spyder.

The photos were taken at a state checkpoint, on their way to Philadelphia. Due to Michael Bay’s tricks, we don’t know if the motorcycle and Cam-Am Spyder are decoy vehicles or actual Transformers.

Be sure to check back on Tuesday, when shooting starts and Optimus Prime makes his way.

Animated Season One coming soon from Paramount Home Entertainment

Written by Big Bot on | Animated,DVD,News,Paramount | Tags: ,

Paramount Home Entertainment have today announced the release of the first season of Transformers: Animated on DVD in North America for 19th August.

Unfortunately, due to Paramount’s money making strategy, this will only include the episodes from “Home is where the Spark is” to “Megatron Rising Part 2”. You will have to buy the movie special separately. The set will be on 2 DVDs with English Dolby Digital audio.

In Transformers Season One, the Autobots swear to protect the ALLSPARK, their adopted new home Earth, and an 8-year old girl named Sari Sumdac, who not only becomes an honorary Autobot, but also a vital component of the team and the keeper of THE KEY, which serves an emergency power supply and healing source for the Autobots. While Optimus Prime and his team of Autobots are out fighting Earth-bound super villains and basking in their newfound superhero status, the real threat, the Decepticons, are out there regrouping, preparing to return with a vengeance and will stop at nothing to get their hands on the ALLSPARK and THE KEY.

All we know so far is that we are getting it on 4th August, 2 months after North America, for a RRP of £12.99, but be sure to look for it cheaper. Other details haven’t been confirmed, but expect it to be the same as the other versions, unless Paramount HE have any other bright ideas.

First Chinese set photos

Written by Big Bot on | News,Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen |

Some new photos of the fictional Chinese city that will feature in Transformers 2 have been uploaded onto the internet, as well as some details of what will be filmed.

– The east side of the site is being re-developed so most of the shooting will take place on the west side.
– A new concept car (possible Transformer?) not used in the first movie will be used there
– Two Blackhawk helicopters will be used
– The area will be patrolled by the site security and Bethlehem City Police who will also and close streets for the shoot.

We suggest you head over before Paramount’s lawyers decide to panic like the first film.
