Voyager Optimus Prime & Leader Megatron, Bulkhead, Roll Out & Command Optimus Prime out in UK

Big title, big news, with lots more Transformers: Animated toys having been released in the UK today.

First, voyager class Optimus Prime (earth mode) has been spotted in the Forbidden Planet International store in Edinburgh, costing £19.99. This is a wave 3 figure. Also out are leader class Megatron and Bulkhead (with Headmaster), each in a different Toys R Us store, and costing £39.99. For the same price, Roll Out & Command Optimus Prime was found at Toys R Us in Aberdeen. All three figures are wave 1.

Be on the look out for Lugnut and Grimlock, the wave 2 voyager figures. Happy Hunting!

Animated Ratchet and Blackarachnia out in UK

More good news for UK Animated fans, the second wave of figures should be arriving nationwide very soon. Forum member Perceptor has picked up Ratchet and Blackarachnia from his local toy store, Toys n Tuck. These make up wave 2 of the deluxe size class.

Hopefully other size classes will be availbale soon, especially Voyager and Leader class items.

Forum member ironpyrite303 has picked up Roll Out Command Optimus Prime in the USA for $50, and has posted some videos and pictures of the figure. The most interesting photo is of the comparison with Masterpiece Optimus Prime, which shows that Roll Out Prime is the same height but a lot fatter.

A McDonald’s employee has discovered the fast food chain will start selling Transformers Animated Happy Meal figures a week today in North America. From the information he received, the Transformers Animated promotion will be Littlest Pet Shop figures.

The figures known to be part of the line are Optimus Prime and Megatron.

Transformers: Animated Wave 3 Out in USA

Allspark.com member Nebucron has posted the first sighting of the third wave of the Transformers: Animated figures. At a Target in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, wave 3 deluxe figures Oil Slick, Jazz, Soundwave and Snarl have all been found.

Hopefully a European release will be soon.

Official Optimus Prime Battle Blaster Images

TFW2005 have been provided with official images of the Optimus Prime Battle Blaster. The figure, which is part of the Transformers: Animated line, will be part of the first wave, and showing up in stores soon.

MP-07 Thundercracker, Nissan GT-R Bot & New Henkei Figures

Digital-Toys.com have received some news from Japan of some new toys coming later this year from TakaraTomy.

The next Masterpiece figure has apparently been revealed as MP-07 Thundercracker, due for release in November. Also listed are 2 versions of a new figure, which transforms into a silver or red Nissan GT-R. This will also be on sale from November. Judging by the listing and rumour going around, it seems to be part of the Binaltech line.

Continuing the Henkei line, the following are listed for release in October:

C-09 Lamborghini
C-10 Streak
C-11 Ironhide
C-12 Ratchet
D-05 Octane
D-06 Galvatron
