Starscream Re-Issue at ToysRus.com/Amazon
Japanese Armada at Epic Heroes
Epic Heroes asked us to clear something up for them. They’ve received stock of the Armada toys, but only the Japanese Armada. They are still waiting delivery of the UK Armada toys. If you’ve ordered UK Armada from them they’re not in yet, but you can check out the Japanese Armada at epic heroes here.
There are some differences between the UK and Japanese toys in packaging, price and the toys themselves.
New Year Specials 2003
More great news from e-hobby Japan
The 2003 New Year Specials have been confirmed. They are more Countach repaints, known as #91 Clampdown and #92 Deep Cover. They take the form of Super Car Police Car and Black Super Car respectively.
Orders are possible until January 10th and they will ship end of March (New Year???)
P.S. For those of you who may have read about re-re-issues of some of the Decepticon planes and the Autobot car collection editions – These were very limited returns which appeared to sell out in minutes after being posted on the site.
Addendum: My Clone Set 2
e-Hobby also has details of the second edition of My Clone figures available from March:
Bumblebee, Grimlock, Rodimus, Galvatron, Wreck-Gar and SoundWave, as well as 2 secret figures

Act 9 and Act 10 are being called SCF My Clone part 1 and part 2…associating them with the Kubrick style figures, but they certainly seem to be following the standard figure pattern. Each set comes with 14 figures, 6 coloured, 6 Pewter and 2 rare… Act 9 is due in December, Act 10 in March
Mega SCF – Convoy and Megatron are due in January, Ironhide in February and Hot Rod in March.
Takara site update
Following yesterday’s release of Starscream Mega SCF, Takara have included images of the figure on their website. They have also highlighted the Tracks Collection figure and have added small reports on both the Manga comic anthology and the Tokyo Game Show from September. See the items here -> http://www.takaratoys.co.jp/TF/index.html
Starscream Mega SCF finally listed in Japan
The long awaited Starscream Mega SCF #7 has started to appear on Japanese websites (Namely ToysRus) and should be available to those who have ordered it from abroad very soon.
The next 3-4 weeks are expected to be packed with end of year releases, so watch this space.
UPDATE: I have been notified that the release of this figure has been put back to November 30th, so you may just get them for Christmas…
Megatron and Smokescreen Reissue pics
Check out these images from the Tokyo Game Show of the Smokescreen and Megatron Reissues. As you can see Megs is in the same size box as Smokescreen and the other G1 cars before him, so he’s a bit of
a tight fit.
These can both be pre-ordered now from many of our featured stores on the left.
