Yesterday we attended the London premier of Transformers in Leicester Square, which was filled with Transformers fans, press and the stars of the film.

We can’t give you a review of the film until July 1st as all reviews are embargoed until then, but we can talk about in our forum – and provide you with loads of photos from the premier such as this one.

Transformers Movie Premier this Friday

This Friday sees the Leicester Square premier of Transformers in London, and naturally staff from TheTransformers.Net and TransformersTheMovie.com will be there.

We’ll have a full report of how the day went here, but we can’t give a review of the film until the powers that be permit it.

We can tell you how cool it was though, expect some gushing at least.

Good news for North American gamers. Transformers The game on PSP and Transformers Autobots and Transformers Decepticons for Nintendo DS have been released. Expect reviews to be up soon. This is also good news for the rest of the world as well as these portable games are region free.

Transformers Rating – 12A

Good news UK fans, the BBFC have given the Transformers movie a 12A rating with NO cuts. This is good news as there had been some concern that some scenes may have been cut to get this rating (instead of a 15) as the film was originally given an R rating in North America.

The film is 143 minutes and 15 seconds long (2 hours and 23 minutes). This is slightly longer than has been quoted by other sources.

The film “Contains moderate action violence”, which is a good thing.

We’ll have more news from the UK Press screening on Friday.

Transformers The Game Xbox 360 Achievements

We know some of you are bonkers about unlocking Xbox 360 achievements, so here are the first details of what will be on offer from Transformers The Game.

There will be a total of 1000 points spread over 42 achievements. 26 of these achievements will be secret but the 16 that are know include

  • 1. Pride of Bumblebee � 60 pts You’ve scouted the world thoroughly. All the secret icons have been collected.
  • 2. Pride of Megatron � 20 pts
    200 Autobot Drones have fallen before you.
  • 3. Pride of Optimus Prime � 20 pts
    200 Decepticon Drones have met their match.
  • 4. Transform and Roll Out � 10 pts
    You’ve transformed for the first time.
  • 5. Robots in Disguise � 25 pts
    You’ve transformed 500 times.
  • 6. Keeper of the AllSpark � 75 pts
    There is no Transformer that stands greater than you. You have achieved 100% completion.
