Simon Furman has provided more news on Titan Magazines UK Transformers comic, with details, and some nice art from Nick Roche, on issue #2. The story will inter-wind in and out of IDW’s Movie prequel series.
Issue #2 is on sale on 16th August in the UK.
Yesterday we attended the London premier of Transformers in Leicester Square, which was filled with Transformers fans, press and the stars of the film.
We can’t give you a review of the film until July 1st as all reviews are embargoed until then, but we can talk about in our forum – and provide you with loads of photos from the premier such as this one.

This Friday sees the Leicester Square premier of Transformers in London, and naturally staff from TheTransformers.Net and TransformersTheMovie.com will be there.
We’ll have a full report of how the day went here, but we can’t give a review of the film until the powers that be permit it.
We can tell you how cool it was though, expect some gushing at least.
Good news for North American gamers. Transformers The game on PSP and Transformers Autobots and Transformers Decepticons for Nintendo DS have been released. Expect reviews to be up soon. This is also good news for the rest of the world as well as these portable games are region free.

In anticipation of the worldwide release of TRANSFORMERS, Paramount Pictures International will be launching �Sector 7�, an immersive 3-D experience within the fast-growing online community known as Second Life.
A live Q&A with the film�s director, Michael Bay, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura and the cast from TRANSFORMERS will launch the experience to an invited global audience of press and fans.
In a world-first for an event of this profile, the Q&A will also be broadcast live as a video stream available for anybody to view both within Second Life and on the web in the UK at www.thesun.co.uk

Paramount Pictures International is working with the creative marketing agency Picture Production Company (PPC) to create the TRANSFORMERS experience within Second Life.
Good news UK fans, the BBFC have given the Transformers movie a 12A rating with NO cuts. This is good news as there had been some concern that some scenes may have been cut to get this rating (instead of a 15) as the film was originally given an R rating in North America.
The film is 143 minutes and 15 seconds long (2 hours and 23 minutes). This is slightly longer than has been quoted by other sources.
The film “Contains moderate action violence”, which is a good thing.
