IDW: All Hail Megatron

Written by Big Bot on January 16, 2008 | Comics,IDW Publishing,News |

A lot of rumours have been spreading about IDW’s Transformers titles for 2008. Chris Ryall posted a teaser, which had a red Decepticon logo with the words, “Swear Allegiance”. Another clue has been uncovered, with the title of series being All Hail Megatron.

The announcement was made on Today Tonight, a program that airs in Australia. Shaun McCarthy, who lives in down under, is probably the writer for the series, which is due to start in April. The premise is the Decepticons coming to Earth, but with no Autobots to stop them. Definitely a different take on the same old concept that could prove interesting.

Here is what firecracker of TAAU had to say:

Whoa, Today Tonight just run a spot on a IDW writer who lives here in AUS. Shaun something. He revealed IDW’s plan’s for April… A new series called All hail Megatron. Evidently it deals with the Decepticons showing up on earth and creating havoc, however there are no Autobots around to stop them. A teaser poster was shown sporting a red Decep sigil and the words Swear Alliegence.
