As well as discussing the movie universe, there are also hints and what to expect in 2009, the 25th anniversary of Transformers.

There are also some nice colour pages from the movie sequel series.

IDW releases – 7th May 08

Just 2 comics from IDW Publishing this week, the first being Transformers Movie Sequel: The Reign of Starscream #1, the first in a 5 issue series picking up the events of the Transformers movie. First Transformers: Animated figure released in the UK

Written by Big Bot on May 2, 2008 | Animated,News,Toys |

Yes, hell has frozen over and the world is about to end. In related news, the first Hasbro UK released Transformers: Animated figure has been bought in the UK, a month before the expected release.

The figure released is The Battle Begins: Optimus prime Vs Megatron 2 pack, which comes with a DVD, for £19.99 at Toys R Us. Even more surprising is that this hasn’t even out in North America.

Hopefully this marks the start of the whole Transformers: Animated line.
