Well it took a while but we’ve finally done what we were promissing and installed a chatroom. Check it out here and meet all of those interesting Transformers fans.

Thanks to Randomness of TheTF.Net forums, all of the forum regulars all have their own sprites. If you’ve been left out you might want to speak to Randomness about it!

Unfortunately we’ve had to move the server that hosts our domain name to a new server, and this has meant that we can no longer split our email records to allow people to use TheTransformers.Net webmail. We’re sorry for the short notice on this, but the email service will go down within the next 48 hours.

There really was nothing we could do, as it would have cost us £500 ($340) to keep the server running per year. I know a lot of you used this service and we cannot apologise enough for the inconvenience caused.

The registrations will still be active though, so maybe in the near future we’ll be able to sort something out, but for the meantime it’s not happening.

Again, sorry about this, a lot of you will be affected.

You may have noticed that the website has been down a lot lately. That’s because we get far too much traffic for the server, and it crashed and burned. Not to fear, we’re now on a dedicated server all of our own, so bar the odd teething problem while we work it all out, we should (touch wood) be a lot more stable from now on.

The website www.transformersthemovie.com has had a much needed overhaul. It’s been dedicated to the original 1986 animated feature since it was first built in 2002, but now it’s dedicated to the new Live Action Movie.

The V7ndotcom Elursrebmem contest is hotting up, and has just two weeks to run. May 15 decides who is #1, and we aim to be there. Our boys in the forum have been working tirelessly to that effect producing inspirational artwork to publicise our plight, such as this from Nemesis Scourge.
