Server trouble
We’ve been having some trouble this past week, with a lot of site downtime. It’s because our hosting company dropped some chips in one of the server boxes and tried to fish them out with a dead haddock. At least, that’s the way it seems.
Anyhow, we’re back up now and the site’s running fairly quick (as quick as a site with this much traffic and data can actually run) so it *should* be plain sailing from here.
Just in case you didn’t know, our forum is on a different server so hasn’t been affected at all during the outage. If the site goes the way of the dodo again you can go there for updates forums.thetf.net
TheTransformers.Net eMail
We’ve had a few emails asking about the free email addresses @TheTransformers.Net – don’t panick, they’re all still active – we just haven’t put the login box back on the site yet.
Email could be saved
Hold fire, that last post could have been in haste. Our best technical boffins are working on a way that could allow to us to have our cake and eat it. Stand by for some rocky days over the weekend as our site moves server, and with a little energon, and a lot of luck, we just might be able to save the email.
