Titan Magazines have released issue #13 of their Transformers comic today in the UK. The issue contains the final part of “Twilight’s Last Gleaming” and completes a years worth of issues.
Writer of the issue, Simon Furman, has put up his thoughts on the story and the magazine as a whole.
This Thursday marks the release of Titan Magazine’s Transformers #13, completing the Twilight’s Last Gleaming story. Also in the magazine is confirmation that Titan will soon be producing a Transformers: Animated comic series, exclusively for the UK.
No specific dates on when it will start or what sort of stories we can expect, but Simon Furman will be posting more on his blog later this week, hopefully with some details.
Titan Comics have updated their website with full details of what is included in their next issue of Transformers.
Issue #13 will conclude the current story arc with Twilight’s Last Gleaming #5 and the finish the two stories from the IDW printed material, Transformers Movie Prequel and Beast Wars The Gathering. There will also be a 16 page pull-out on Transformers: Animated, featuring comic strips, features, posters and profiles, as well as the usual features included in every issue and a Shoot ‘Em Up disc launcher.
Finally, they have provided the cover art featuring Megatron on the front. Look out for the issue on 19th June across the UK.
Simon Furman has updated his blog to with a follow-up to his script wrap for Aftermath part 1 and 2 with news of the artist for those issues, Gary Erskine. As a bonus, he has also provided two pages from the issues.
Aftermath Parts 1 and 2 make up issues #14 and #15 of Titan’s Transformers UK comic series, due out in July and August.
Having completed another script, Simon Furman again teases fans about the storyline with his Script (W)raps. This time it is for Titan’s Transformers #14 and #15, titled Aftermath Parts 1 & 2.
The story will follow on from the current 5 part story, Twilight’s Last Gleaming, with more stories in this alternative Movie universe. There are SPOILERS, so don’t read ahead if you’re going to pick up the issue.
Today sees the release of Titan Comics Transformers Issue #12, featuring the next part of the main story, Twilight’s Last Gleaming Part 4.
Also included is a free pinball machine, a guide to drawing Blackout, a competition to win Transformers Risk and many other toys, posters, character profiles and more pages from IDW’s Beast Wars and Movie Prequel stories.
July looks like a good month for Transformers comic fans, with 8 titles for IDW Publishing, ranging from the Transformers Movie Sequel, main continuity stories to classic and modern reprints.
First up is Transformers Spotlight: Hardhead, the second part of the Revelations saga, following on from Spotlight: Cyclonus in June, and continuing the main Generation One story. Also in this continuity is The Transformers: All Hail Megatron #1, the start of the 12 issues series, picking up the story 1 year later.
There are 2 Transformers movie based comics, Transformers Movie Sequel: The Reign of Starscream #4, continuing the events after the first movie and Transformers Movie Prequel UK #1, which is a reprint of the first 2 issues of Titan’s Transformers UK comic, which started in July 2007.
The Transformers: The Ark, Volume 2 compiles more rare images, this time from Japan, specifically the Headmasters, Super-God Masterforce, Victory, Zone, Battlestars, and Operation Combination series.
Transformers Best of the UK: Space Pirates #5 is the last collection of the original Marvel UK Space Pirates story, whilst Classic Transformers, Volume 2 collects issues 17-20 of the Marvel US series.
Finally The Transformers Animated, Volume 4 is a comic presentation of the cartoon series, again using frames from the cartoon to bring the story to life.

Chris Ryall has posted some more Transformers material on his blog, this time with the cover and first details for IDW’s reprints of Titan’s Transformers UK comic series.
IDW will be releasing 2 parts of Titan’s comic strip in one book each month, which makes up 20 pages worth of material in each issue.
The cover for the first issue is done by Nick Roche and Josh Burcham.
Today sees the release of Titan’s Transformers (UK) #10, featuring the second part of ‘Twilight’s Last Gleaming’, (story by Simon Furman and art by Jeremy Tiongson) with comic strips from Beast Wars The Gathering and Transformers Prequel.
There is also a preview at Transformers: Animated, which started in the UK 2 days ago and a free missile blaster.

Continuing the 5 part series, Twilight’s Last Gleaming, which focuses on an alternate eneding to the Transformers movie, various Autobots and Decepticons continue to wage an endless war.
