Simon Furman has provided more news on Titan Magazines UK Transformers comic, with details, and some nice art from Nick Roche, on issue #2. The story will inter-wind in and out of IDW’s Movie prequel series.
Issue #2 is on sale on 16th August in the UK.

He is going to be reviewing the Transformers movie for Comics International issue #203, some more bits of info on the Titan comic series (issue #2 is released on 16th August) and to go buy the Transformers The Movie Guide from Dorling Kindserley on 4th July.

Another update from UK Transformers God, Simon Furman, this time on his work on Titan’s Transformers (UK) #5. There are lots of info on this issue, so if you would like to remain completely story free, don’t read ahead.
Simon Furman has posted the first colour page from Titan Magazine’s Transformers comic. The first page has already been seen in black and white but is now available in colour from artist Geoff Senior.
Issue #1 goes on sale on 19th July exclusively in the UK.

What UK exclusive comic material can we expect in the new Transformers publication?
So far we have six self-contained stories written by Simon Furman that although are stand-alones, will tie straight into the IDW prequels. After that, we’re pondering our options; we have contracts for all the various Transformers properties so who knows where we’ll end up?

Titan Books have now revealed the first inside page of their exclusive UK comic, set to start on 19th July. The page, done by Geoff Senior, is from issue #1 which is about Optimus Prime.

Titan Magazine have sent us some details on the new UK comic based around the Transformers movie.

Simon Furman has produced another blog entry, this time commenting on the completion of the fourth issue of the UK Transformers comic, based on this summers Transformers Movie.
Simon mentions that the series “contains a mix of new strip, reprint strip (movie Prequel and more) and features (not to mention FREE Transformers dog tags!)”. Issues #1-6 are linked to IDW’s Movie Prequel series but issues #3-6 concentrate more on individual characters who appear little or not at all in the IDW series.
Issue #1 is one sale from 19th July in the UK.

A few titbits of interest. Andy Wildman and Nick Roche have joined the artist ranks.Also, the first free gift (if that’s your thang) will be TF dogtags – Autobot and Decepticon. FYI, first issue goes on sale 19th July.
