The comic is being written by Simon Furman with art by Don Figueroa, coming to you in Spetember. The variant cover is by…well, Chris won’t tell but he has been with IDW for a while and has not done anything Transformers related before.

Good old Transformers comic writer Simon Furman has been spillng some juicy info at the Wizard World convention in Los Angeles, especially on July’s Spotlight character, GALVATRON.
Simon talks about where in the IDW universe Galvatron will appear and how he fits in the overall story. There is also some art from Guido Guidi (artist for the issue) of Galvatron and an Autobot that many fans have missed in the series.
Also, if you are longing for some Beast Wars The Ascending info, just read the last paragraph.
