Metrodome have posted a message on their forums asking fans for some questions to ask Flint Dille, the story consultant for Transformers The Movie (the 1986 film), for an interview, which will be put on their Transformers The Movie Ultimate Edition DVD.

Chris McFeely has provided some new screenshots of the new master beeing used by Metrodome for their upcoming Transformers The Movie Ultimate Edition DVD release in June. The screens show comparisons between the original master, Sony BMG’s new release last November and Metrodome’s prevous “Reconstructed” release.

Play.com have put up a listing for a new DVD, entitled ” Transformers The Classic Episodes“, for release on 30th April in the UK. It is not clear who is producing this DVD or what will be on it. The price is £5.99, which means there will only be a couple of episodes.

Most likely, it is a “best of” set from Metrodome will a couple of Generation 1 episodes or a DVD from Paramount with some Energon and Cybertron episodes.

As usual, it is a good long read and hopefully will get you excited for future Metrodome projects, like Transformers The Movie Ultimate Edition DVD coming in June and maybe some blu-ray releases after that.

Metrodome’s Transformers Takara Volume 3 – Victory DVD is released today in the UK. It contains all 32 episodes in the original Japanese audio with new English subtitles. It can be picked up for £17.99 at many online retailers.

Play.com have updated their site with 2 new listings for Metrodome’s Transformers The Movie Ultimate Edition. Their are:

Transformers The Movie – The Ultimate Edition (1 Disc)
Transformers The Movie – The Ultimate Edition (2 Disc)

Both are due for release on 4th June, which is accurate with what Metrodome announced about a June release date. It is expected that the 2 disk edition will contain all the extra features.
