Sorry, I’m a bit late about this news, but digital channel Anime Central, having already aired Headmasters, have now moved onto Super-God Masterforce. The episodes will be on at the same time with the same annoying dub.
Episode 1 aired 2 days ago with episode 3 airing tonight.
Visit Anime Central’s website for more details.

Obviously us in the UK have to wait some time yet for our release.
Simon Furman has updated his blog with details of the next IDW Spotlight as being Arcee.
You heard it here first. The second issue of volume 3 of IDW’s Transformers Spotlight series of character-led one-shots is… Spotlight Arcee! Yep, you heard that right. Transformers Spotlight Arcee. But hang onto your hats, this is Arcee like you’ve never seen, um, ‘her’ before. Forget pink and fiesty, this Arcee is mad, bad and dangerous to know! I’ll be doing a Script (W)rap for the issue in due course, but just to whet your appetite we’ll just say for now that a certain Jhiaxus has been ‘dabbling’ and Arcee is not happy about it one little bit. In fact, she’s pretty darn homicidal! For a taste of the goodness to come, here’s Alex Milne’s incredible cover art (he’s also doing the interiors AND the alternate cover!). Click on the thumbnail to enlarge. Transformers Spotlight Arcee hits in Feb 08, and is written by me (but then you guessed that, right?). Thanks to Chris Ryall and Alex Milne for for letting me blow the whistle on this one exclusively here, on my blog, and (as always) for details of all IDW’s Transformers titles (and one of the best discussion forums going) check out their site here.
IDW Publishing have released their January 2008 solicitations and with it come some interesting publications. 2008 marks the start of Transformers: Animated, Hasbro’s next line of toys, cartoon and now comics. IDW will be printing books to accompany the cartoon series with Transformers: The Animated Series, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. There is also Spotlight: Blaster, Devastation #5, Best of the UK: Dinobots #5, Classic Transformers, Vol. 1 TPB and The Transformers: Target: 2006 TPB.
Full details can be found at Comic News International.
Another listing on the BBFC website shows that Hasbro UK are releasing the first episode of Transformers Animated on DVD. Since Hasbro UK is a toy company who don’t specialise in DVD distribution, it most likely means this DVD will be included with a Transformers Animated toy, and the best guess is “TF Animated Battle Pack with DVD”, which we mentioned earlier this month.
The episode included is called, “Transform and Roll Out” and will be the first episode of Transformers Animated. The FBI warning indicates that the disc will also be released in North America.
With the release of Transformers in North Amercia yesterday, many stores provided exclusives, and the most interesting was Wal-Marts, which contained a bonus disc with an animated version of IDW’s prequel story, entitled Beginnings. Peter Cullen and other voice actors provided voices to bring the prequel to life.
Thats to the BBFC, it looks like the UK will be getting this extra as well. No store has been linked with this exclusive, but with HMV and Play.com already having bonuses, it is likely to be either Virgin Megastores or Asda, who are owned by Wal-Mart.

I bought this bad boy in July when I was feeling pretty low and the little yellow sucker really helped to cheer me up. I’m not entirely convinced he was worth the £80 but at the time what did I care? I bought him from Argos and received a free transforming Bumblebee poster. Not bad eh?
Transforming the Ultimate Edition Bumblebee was like switching a railroad track, I imagine – I’ve never actually done that. What I mean is he’s big, the parts are big and the movements are big. He’s not your fiddly little minicon.
What I like about this Transformer is his devotion to cheese. He plays music and sounds from the film in car mode, complete with engine noises and break lights (not bad eh) and it robot mode he talks to you, getting quite cranky if you ignore him. I’m not imagining it, he is voice activated, it says so on the box. What I wasn’t prepared for was when I took my eye off him to read my comic he bloody well shot me!
Yeah, he aimed his gun right at me and bang, right in the face.
Don’t leave Bumblebee alone with your pets, it could get messy.
