New Binaltech/Alternator!

Written by admin on October 11, 2007 | News |

Pictures have materialised of the next in line to be given the Binaltech treatment. A red Honda S2000(at least it’s red for now!). Speculation is flying about what the name is going to be but the favourites at the moment seem to be Windcharger, Cliffjumper, Overdrive and even Blaster(yes, Blaster. Well they’ve done big Grimlock haven’t they?) Keep your optical sensors peeled for this one!

No more Alternators-OFFICIAL!!

Written by admin on | News |

It’s true. Hasbro have confirmed that there will be no more Alternators released in the UK. They say it’s because of “reluctance” by the retailers to sell the line. Personally, I don’t buy that! Either way, once again the British TF fans have been passed over. The only way to get these very impressive figures is to import them from the States or Japan. Ta very much Hasbro UK!!!

Q&A on transformers.com

Written by admin on | News |

The next Q&A session is up on transformers.com. Here Hasbro confirms that High Wire’s colour scheme will not be changed, as rumours have appeared that his is apparently unpainted from the torso up. They also confirm the continuation of the G1 Commemerative Series with Autbot Skids this Summer and that the Alternators will continue to be released through Summer and Autumn, despite the poor showing of them so far. Check the page itself for more deatils here.

UK to actually get MORE Armada?!

Written by admin on | Armada,News,Toys |

Hasbro.co.uk’s online store has been updated with some new entries. This must mean that the figures are avaliable in the UK…somewhere. The figures are the Air Military Team, Rhinox, Terrorsaur, Hoist, Powerlinx Red Alert and Powerlinx Optimus Prime. We might see Wheeljack and the other later figures like Overload before the next millenium at this rate…

UK realease of 20th Anniversary Prime

Written by admin on | News |

I recently e-mailed Hasbro UK enquiring about the UK release of Masterpiece Optimus Prime. And got a reply to this effect (haven’t got the e-mail anymore, so it was like this). Basically, since Transformers didn’t appear in the UK until 1985, the 20th anniversary in the UK isn’t actually until 2005, so we won’t be getting MP Prme for AT LEAST a year. This sucks MAJOR ass. But what can we expect from Hasbro UK? One word now springs to mind – IMPORT.
