During the past week, the Game Developers Conference has been taking place, and Activision and Nintendo have confirmed that 2 Transformers games, based on the Transformers Movie, are on their way to the Nintendo DS. IGN’s sources claim that the games will link together (like Pokemon), but each have original content, not available on the other.
The DS games are due for release sometime in 2007.
Latinoreview.com have interviewed Transformers Movie producer Lorenzo DiBonaventura, who mentions that the next movie trailer will debut around late April or early May. It is also worth mentioning that he states that NO voice actor is currently assigned to play Megatron.
TFW2005 member Voiceroy has reported that GameStop computers have listed the release date of Transformers The Game for 19th June in North America for the PS2, PS3, PSP, Xbox 360 and Wii versions of the game. Also, a Collector’s Edition is listed for the Xbox 360, which will cost $10 more than the regular version.
The UK’s largest game store, GAME, has put up a preorder page for the PC and Xbox 360 versions for the 20th May and 20th July respectively.

IGN.com have put up the first screenshot from Activision’s Transformers The Game, based on the Transformers Movie. The screen is of Bumblebee and is from the “high end” consoles, meaning the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. The screen can be seen here.

Hey Dor … As you can see by my responses [below], everything you’ve read at this point has been rumor and misinformation. As of this moment, to my knowledge, they have not cast Megatron and I am still very much in the running.

What type of game is being developed?
Transformers The Game is a free roaming action adventure which draws upon racing, flying, combat, shooter and exploration elements.
